We are proud to be members of Hampshire Fare. We use Hampshire produce where this is available to us, particularly the honey in our honeycomb and fruit from our nearby hedgerows (with sustainability uppermost in our minds!).

Thorpe Confectionery is a husband and wife team, Dave and Clare Ratcliff, with enthusiastic help from our son, James (8), who shows great enthusiasm in product development and taste testing.
Working from the hamlet of West Worldham, which nestles on the edge of the South Downs National Park, we produce lovingly hand crafted chocolates and sweet treats, made using quality ingredients that are locally sourced where possible.
Having been disappointed by so many confectionery gifts and treats in the past, flavour has become our driving force. We enjoy the challenge of creating our recipes using natural and fresh ingredients to ensure that the end result remains true to the promise of their flavour. Our aim is “no disappointments”.
Our vision is of confectionery as a rare and precious treat; an indulgent luxury and a mark of prestige to be enjoyed and celebrated, whether giving, receiving or sharing.
We use Belgian chocolate which we temper and make into our chocolates. The fillings are made with locally sourced ingredients, wherever possible, plus we make many of our own fillings from nature's own storeroom.
